One of my favorite memories from my daughters’ youth was creating a volcano science experiment in our kitchen. First we built a volcano from clay, and after it had hardened, I brought out a white powder and clear liquid.

We placed the volcano on a cookie sheet and gently scooped some powder into the open center of the volcano. Next, we added the liquid.

Their eyes grew big as bubbles and fizzles began inside the volcano and eventually overflowed down the sides of the clay sculpture and into the pan - like magic!! ✨✨

I gave a short explanation of the chemical reaction that had just taken place, and told them that there is chemistry happening all around us - even if you don’t see it as clearly as the baking soda and vinegar reaction!

This month in our May 2025 edition of Growtharmonic Insights, we will look at how you can leverage Chemistry - internally (neurochemistry), with personal or professional interactions (relationship chemistry) and around the house (traditional chemistry)!
